Guys! I just had the best tasting prawn tempura roll in the tempura roll planet. I always pass this jap restaurant on my way to uni but never did really had the time to check the place out. This morning, I was already 10 minutes for class, but stopped there anyway.. I initially wanted to get the californial roll but today antah the little doraemon in me wanted the tempura roll instead. For $2 each. Prawn tempura rolls are usually more expensive than that.. usually by a dollar or two, so i wasn’t expecting much. But clearly it was a BARGAIN lah cause it wentt way way way beyond my expectations. hehe..i wonder what’s kel doing after this? lunch, there. perhaps?

Get this, I actually thought of Rem when i first heard him. Him and Nina simone (THE Nina Simone!). All at once, both names jolted in my mind. A crazy combination, i know and here’s why; He roars out the notes like Rem-Semua-Orang-Tahu does BUT maintains a jazzy sultry tone to it. Ok. Another way of putting it, he’s like the Indo-Male version of Corinne Bailey. Very sarak sarak BANJIR suaranya. Just got back from Nawa’s. I just thought i’d see them for abit since It’s been a while since we just chilled out and stuff. well not really.. come to think of it..i just saw them sisters two days ago. aku lali. sorry. i was just thinking out loud.

So i finally got off my butt and played squash today. It was just me and inta on a $22.50-per-hour squash session at the Aquatic centre. It’s been a while, that ive completely forgotten how to surf serve. First few minutes in to the game, i kudnt surfserve for shit. I even forgot some of the squash jargon that i learnt during my training in brunei; “handouts” , “Service fault” ,”drop shot” , “the boast” and the infamous “Bitch Ball” . I can’t even rememberrrrr the name that i INVENTED to replace “match ball” in games (exsp when im on the verge of losing ; LOVE , EIGHT)

Godness me, i might as well forget my date of birth and my last name while im at it.

sigh. but yeah, to finally play squash after so long? It was a bliss. I just wished it could be cheaper lah..then i can go everyday.. then i won’t forget how to surf serve..then i can be the Nicole Davis of Brunei..then everyone would want to beat me..then people would be paying me for interviews and shit..then i’ll finally be on TV3’s NONA..then i can use my fame for a good cause.. like supporting the perempuan,isteri,kueh-cincin,cakoi dan dot dot dot club.. then brunei kueh would be famous..se antero dunia..and its all because of the No 1. I just woke up.. im still in bed. it looks hot and sunny outside.. sunny days makes me feel like icecream. As opposed to Cold days where i feel like ice cream, cookies, and kfc. huhu. I just got a text from Inta inviting me to go squashing with her sometime this weekend. I’m not sure where we’re playing though.. but from reading her latest text; ‘asik. yeah, and maybe we’ll have dinner around the toorak/stkilda area after..yum!’ i have a feeling we’re headed for the Aquatic centre. The money-monster aquatic centre squash courts that charges $22 bucks by the hour. WOOOOOOOOOOO. how can i save up for new Bettinas like this???? Eating out somewhere near the toorak or stkilda area would also mean that ill be spending minimum $20 on dinner. uwaaaa how to save up for boots like this?????? I’ll just hope that we’re not going to be leaving any tips lah cause that could easily cost me easy $10.. afaaaaaaaaaaaaaah how to save up for MAC fake eyelashes like this????? This is why i dread going out most of the time.

It’s set then. Joshua Andreas’ fashion show is a week from today.
