The evening was spent sitting through a 3 hour movie (for the second time); Blow. Hello!, A girl can never get enough of mr Johnny depp! huhuhu. Despite the fact that i didn’t manage to finish my report as planned (i like to take my time with these things), i certainly thought it was time well spent! I was impressed at the “buy 1 for $2.50” or “buy 5 for $10” dvd collection at Cheong Hock this afternoon. Amongst all the dvds i bought, i managed to bag Blow & Le’Divorce. Kate Hudson is my Hero. because she’s so preeetyyyyy like the motherrrr. huhuhu.

I thought i’d get Season 2 of Grey’s anotomy. But seeing that it was selling for $5 a pop, i opted buying copied dvd 9’s instead.I’m sure there’s someone outthere who would kindly lend me their (expired) season 2 gray’s anotomy collection. If ada. please..hehe comment.

I’m currently hunting for Studio 54 on dvd. Don’t ask me why but i love movies that SCREAMS 1970’s,Sex,drugs & alcohol. I guess i find stories incorporated to a movie on the topics of Cocaine,the after math of exstacy abuse, money laundering,and the down fall of the hottest clubbing scene on earth very very lah the intriguing! It keeps me at the edge of my seat. At least i’m learning something la..As opposed to watching high-school cliches in “the high school musical”. Atu belajar cara cara becium ganya tu. sama jadi cheerleader. bliak.

I’ve contemplated blogging for the past hour. Nothing’s coming to mind you see. Lunching at Lee Loi Fatt. Again. I’m addicted to their fried chicken and rojak. No wonder kamy was raving about it the whole time she was here. The fried chicken served at LLF are the same ones like i used to have ages ago at a small chinese restaurant on the corner of Bourke and Russel streets in Melbourne (they’ve closed down). The one in melbourne is better because instead of serving the fried chicken plain, they stir-fry it with more sea salt, corriander and chillies. Another “world’s best” chicken wings next to Melbourne’s are the chicken wings from Damuan.

Remember how Damuan used to have those small-small restaurants parallel to the river? they used to have the best fried chicken wings in town! banar! i was only 8 at that time kali.. now sadly no more damuan restaurant..no more fried chicken and it took me 24 YEARS to find fried chicken of the same kind! ahahaha..and now that ive found it..im never letting goooo!!

what makes it different from other fried chicken/s is that these chinese chicken wings uses “batter” instead of just coating it in flour and frying them.

yatah..im googling the recipe now.

will post it up when i find it.

I’m at the office. One of the officers have found my secret stash of pirated Sims2 cds and add-ons. Oh no!!! One wise friend told me kalau attachment ani..kalau nada papa kan dibuat, terasa LAMA. tapi kalau main GAME inda. turun tah ku ariatu membali:-

Believe it or not, i have been given a report to do!! Mcm, kekajutan jua ku tu. 4 bulan inda buat papa..skali.. BOH. 7 page report.

Speaking of which. I’ve been wathcing 3 DIVA live in concert on dvd for a week straight. oi. SIOK kali ah. Pagi, 3 diva. Malam sebelum tidur 3 Diva, patang balik keraja 3-diva!! they were FABULOUS together and their voices complimented each other well…cept for maybe Titi Dj in some instances. I loved their re-arrangement of Sheila Majid’s Warna , Sinaranan & Antara Anyer dan Jakarta. huhu. They also re-arranged a couple of Siti Nurhaliza’s Songs.. which im not bothered about. KD was simply amazing with her rendition of PANASARAN a duet with Nurul (ex si ajai!). tapi si Nurul inda brapa. huhu.

SO anyway,When i dont have my Sims i resort to other things such as “Hearts” “Solitaire” “Pinball”. huhu Microsoft games rocks. Although, im still trying to get a hold of playing “Hearts”. Its confusing bah..mcm KILAR tapi inda jua. eh inda bah.

On another note. It clicked to me bah pasal band band Malaysia lama ani..mcm mcm nama diorang.. exsp the rock groups. Who the hell thought up of “Lefthanded” as being a ROCK enough of a name for a ROCK band.

and what about Black dog bone?????? hahahaha atu rugged. adakan nama BANDyang dalamnya semua ISLAM namanya BLACK DOG BONE. lol..

and what about Teacher’s Pet???? CAREFREE??

I’ll start with M. Nasir and how i’ve got a huge crush on him. muuuhahahhahaha. Majority of people (my age) would look at him and say, nah. inda hensem. untuk urang tua tua saja ni. tapi sebenarnya INDA. M.nasir juga boleh diSUKAI orng orng MUDA. banar!! haha. This infatuation started when i first saw him with Deanna Yusof in the movie “Selubong” a few years back. He was much younger then, sporting much much shorter hair and NO MISAI. wow. pingsan ku liat, HENSEM. huhuhu.

I’ve long forgotten about him until yesterday when my mom told me to look for M Nasir’s cd for Aziz’s song to the finals. oh. Aziz my brother mdae it to the FINALS of Bintang Kecil. They’ve only started showing the semi final episodes on RTB but we’ve been notified earlier this week that he has made it! Yay!! Anyway, peas peas kacang peas. Yatah bah si M.Nasir ani bah.. huhuhu.. yatah dari dimalam ku angau sudah kan kedia ani. seharian di opis ku memasang lagunya anu SriKandi Cintaku ani. hahaha. I NEED TO FIND THAT MOVIE SELUBONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! siapa tau, dimana bejual??

anyhoos. Aziz will be singing Jamal Abdillah’s Penghujung Rindu. i know. an 8 year old singing a classic right? RTB has imposed a strict rule against “CINTA CINTA” songs. or songs that includes the word “Cinta” so Aziz’s choice of songs are limited which is sad really. Thats why every year they get kids singing Indonesian songs for children. which doesnt really sound appealing to the ears exsp on BRUNEIAN TV. skali ani PAYAH bah plang kan mencari LAGU. He has already sang “Sinaran” by Sheila Majid for the semi-finals and his choice of songs for the finals has been narrowed to either Gerhana, Kekasih Awal Dan Akhir, Penghujung Rindu & Mentera Semerah Padi. My mom was against the idea of him singing Mentera Semerah Padi pasalnya that song has been an all time favourite of Bintang Kecial finalists in the recent years. My brother Aziz, unlike other 8 year olds enjoyyyyyyyy singing to Jamal Abdillah’s songs. He’s probably influenced by my Father who is also a big fan of Jamal Abdillah. I don’t know what it is with my family and veteran singers. huhuhu. My uncle bought Jamal Abdillah’s latest concert at Dewan Istana for my father. My father kept on rewinding and playing it on tv FOR A MONTH. everyday for a month on FULL BLAST. APA RASANYA??? PAGI JAMAL. MALAM JAMAL. MAKAN JAMAL. MINUM JAMAL. suka banar jua sudah tu. hahaha. nya my dad nya, kalau kan jadi penyanyi nya, jangan alang2. mesti KALAHKAN SI JAMAL ani.

hahahhaha jadi penyanyi KELAB MALAM saja ku. But yea its true, ive been to one of his concerts here in Brunei. and he sounded soooo much better than he does on TV,CD ataupun juga di Radio.

A friend told me yesterday that i’m better off working rather than being at home “memikirkan kurus”. nda jua eh. sama jua eh. dimana mana pun payah kan diet pebaik tah dalam utan belantara. maseh payah jua kan diet. exsp kalau hutan belantara nya ampir EXPRESS huhuhuhu. yatah bah kan, Inda lagi alang2 tu eh.. Its been a lazy sunday or in my case another Lazy kuning baju kurong day! if you see me with a really bright YELLOW baju kurong with POCKETS on the streets dont be scared to say Hi. cause its just me having a really lazy kuning baju kurong day. Yes. there are days when i feel like going out understated. Uncles, Aunties, cousins and friends have commented on how often i use the baju-kurong. exsp to family occasions. and they would laugh and point at how my baju-kurong even has POCKETS. “Macam baju ugama!” “macam baju skulah” they would say and this would be my cue to go “awu. mcm doraemon bah. DORAEMON ISLAM!”.

I love bajukurong with pockets. exsp when your bag collection is limited to either a black prada that has a huge hole in-it that i refuse to repair , a brown friis and co. that’s too huge for my own good and a gucci tote that’s too small. With this baju-kurong, somehow i feel liberated bah knowing that i won’t leave anything behind pasal everything’s in my pocket and could be easily thrown in to the pocket after use (etc; mobile phones, change , gula gula hacks punya wrapper.) Everytime i wear a bag, i feel like i have to hang on to it with my life takut kana curi kah, tinggal kah..and i sooo hate going through the contents in panic mode for my car keys. Kalau simpan dalam pocket..mcm salok salok sikit NAHHH ADA TIA KUNCI KERITA KU!! salok lagii NAAAAAAh TISSUE.. Salok lagii NAAAAH basikal.

But unfortunately, ive only got two bajukurongs with pockets left. no idea where the others went. Anyway, one is in Yellow with huge blue-ish flowers and one. again, is all YELLOW.. with tiny red flowers. Talk about a fashion faux. huhuhu. One thing though, if you happen to call me when im wearing this baju.. jantaaaah ku dibawa ke the mall atu. ataupun ke “the dome”. huhuhu. My baju is meant for Vintage rose and Supa Save only. It didn’t help that Nelson, the seamstress from Khazanah saw me in this baju the other day. He was like , Hey syaz, what happened to your baju.. the sponge rosak sudah!!.. but i justified it by proudly explaining how deep the pockets were and then asking him; WHO THE HELL COMES TO SUPASAVE anyways? that’s right. nada. huhuhuhu.

anyway, i should be going to bed now. another day at work. OH THE JOY!!!!!!!!
