Looky what i got today:-

yup. you’re looking at 3 boxes-full of glazed krispy kreme donuts.. i almost puked after my 4th donut..if i was to go ahead wif puking,i’d imagine it’d come out in little mini donut shapes alongside insulin.

Don’t ever, attempt buying 4 dozens of krispy kremes at one go. Gila men. Yatah skim capat mati ni mun kamu kan tau. heh.

mom was nice enough to buy us a dozen on her way here from sydney.. the rest we got from Kamy who was selling them for charity kah apa kah? ah., yatah tu something along those lines. haha.

Its been a long day.. i just finished rolling the last of the popiahs. I’ve got marinated leg of lamb sitting in the fridge for tommorow’s dinner.. invited the same old faces lah..counting on YING to come tommorow 😛

Can’t sleep. Although i ought to be. Picking up mom at the airport around 8. Well, we’ll be leaving the house around 8 anyway. Thanks to having no money we’re catching the morning shuttle to the airport. Mom can pay for the taxi home. Crazy how taxi fares are so expensive here. 60 bucks for a 30 minute ride . That’s a week’s share of groceries. Whatever, im just glad that mum’s coming.. at least we wont have to worry about the household expenditure for awhile..

Apart from cleaning the house, i didn’t do much today..as per usual. I had the day off and i managed to catch up with some sleep. I think i only woke up around 3 in the afternoon. tsk. walaupun tidur. Went to nandos for dinner, saw Nawa for abit.

I just realised that having a bestfriend is like having a boyfriend. I went through the same “honey-moon” period with Nawa like i did with guys i went out with.. except it was better la ie; NONE OF THAT MIND GAMES SHIT. hahaha. But yeah.. when we first met, i saw her almost every day kali.. went out to chill everyday and fight over who pays the bill at the end of every meal almost everytime. hahaha. Karang ani tia..beiban. But yeah its true, even lovers need a holiday kan? so that kinda toned down a lil bit. 2 years down the road.. it’s safe to say that we are now in the ‘comfort zone’.. we still see each other everyday lah but dont go out as often (she lives upstairs) and minus the “NOO ITS OKAY. I PAY THIS TIME. U NEXT TIME”.

This didn’t happen with just Nawa ok? i went through the same thing with the girlfriends at home pun.. there’s Bon,Mimi,Ghah.. several of them 🙂

I first met Nawa back in 2003 at this club, Salt (we were both pretty much still underaged at that time hahaah). It was a saturday night and the place was jam packed full of people.. body to body ani wah.The crowd was pushing me and i kept on bumping in to this girl who was standing infront of me. She realised this too,so we started talking lah. for a good 5 minutes..and then out of nowhere, we exchanged numbers. mcm hello? im a girl, she’s a girl.. both very much in to men..haha so why would we want to change numbers kan? skali we parted ways.It wasn’t until a year later that i called her up to say hi..i was going through my phonebook and came across her name.I was contemplating whether to delete it kah inda, well obviously i didnt lah. Thank god for that. She asked me out for coffee but i think i was busy with exams at that time and wasn’t able to go.. 3 months later i called her up lagi and asked her where she lived. Skali? guess what? SHE LIVED IN THE SAME BUILDING AS I WAS. 8 floors up! sampai lah todayyy.. haha kan? was it meant to be OR was it meant to be people? haha.

so yeah guys thats the life story of me and nawa lah hahahaha. We happen to tell this story to the people we meet at parties too.. hahahahaha.. so i guess ive told this story a million times before sudah but never on my blog. so yeah. there u go.

Now,I’m just thinking about how i met my friends that im close to now .. Well whatever it is, either by accident ,mirc 😛 , ex-enemies or through mutual friends.. i just wanted you guys to know that i love kamu kamu semua..and i miss kamu kamu semua in the world.

I’ve uploaded some of the tracks from his new album on me multiply.

This album consists of remakes of popular old hits like Sepanjang Jalan Kenangan , Benci tapi rindu and Sheila majid’s Aku cinta padamu.. yes, definitely what bapa used to sing and still sings on the karaoke.. just the broery songs i mean.

His shivery vocals , didn’t really suit some of the songs. If i knew him personally i’d tell him to lay off ad-libbing for awhile.I found that in some tracks, his ad-libbing over powered the music a fair bit.

However, ill be putting the tracks from this album on repeat for awhile..That way ill be prepared for his concert in Melbourne in August,but then again if he was to play old songs..im better off listening to broery…on LD. KAN?

This album futher proves that these people are running out of ideas. remakes..WHATEVER *big W*. Making new covers for old songs could be cool..only in..SMALL DOSES and only when done properly. properly enough not to butcher it. I’d beat the shit out of Dayang Nurfaizah but its ok ill save that for another day.

I’m giving it a 5 out of 10,only because he is glenn and i know he is capable of doing better!!!

Not sleeping has triggered my sinus. Ive been sniffling uncomfortably in my seat in the last hour. Not only i have to go to school early to hand in my assignment but ive also got classes from 10am till 6pm today. How about that? can’t even describe to you all how shitty i am feeling rite now. Today will be one of those ‘i woke up on the wrong side of the bed’ days lah.. ..the only irony being that i didn’t get out of bed at all.
