LOL. That’s funny. starting today’s post with a YO but yet its ohhhh sooo bruneian. hahaha. Behapa kau nie YO? Kemana ko nie YO? eh YO..wasap ne YO. Yo.. mandi ko sudah ka yo? BALUM YO!! LOL. it comes in different voice tones lagi tu. I.e: BALUM YOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! LOL. I notice that i tend to use YO alot when im back home.. eh YO. hahaha. GAH! i can’t stop now. hahahaha. *Does Ghah’s Beruang laugh* (oh. i also owe someone publicity in here. remind me to do it later..) I think YO is this Era’s version of “JUL” , “Brader” and “Jek” kali (thank you wu-tang clan). Mom was telling me how they called everyone JUL back when she was still studying in the UK. And “Brader” is still being used by the older generation of men.. like the ones in BRUCLASS. kah kah kah. “rilek brader..” “jan catu brader..” .. Jek..im not sure. ok. rewind. i think MOm was telling me how they called everyone JUL and not JEK. but yeah.. cematulah. hehehe.
So anyway, nothing planned for today. Well, i initially wanted to play squash with Wang Ee. But.. ntah i slept late, didn’t feel like waking up early so we moved it to tommorow. Tawar jua wah atikukan main Squash lately. palui2 urang training di stadium atu. keotak. Honestly, my time here hasn’t been all that. Things were slightly better over summer. ani i find brunei to be just.. antah DULL. Maybe because everyone’s not around kali and plus my sisters arent coming back.. so i really dont have anyone to maen maen with. tsk.
Congragulations to the girl who won Bintang Kecil yesterday. “Good voice control , baju sangat cantik , tone sangat enak” well for a 12 year old. She was also last year’s juara.. atu baru ya “inda membari CHAN!” . Yes i am a fan of bintang kecil..as a child ive always wanted to enter. But my mother being a new mom, juggling work and 3 kids at the same time, really didn’t have time to send me back and forth for rehearsals kan. But yeah, i spent my time idolizing ERNI ANIZA, DK MONIRI ,MONA MARLINA and the MALIK FAISALS (ALL SEVEN OF THEM!!!) crazy. i know. There was this one time when i wanted the same shoes Erni wore for the finals (that could be bought at Yaohan!) hahaha..I wanted Mona Marlina’s lacey gloves.. huhu that also could be bought at Yaohan back in the day hahaha. From 1989-1996 i taped eveeeeery single Bintang kecil there were.It’s really sad how they stopped having “wajib songs” in the competition. Macam before, each and every contestant had to sing a traditional malay lagu before contiuniing with their main song. Gila apal ku kali ah lagu2 melayu anie hahaha..Ambuk di tunjang, Api Api, Kulimpapat..Gol Gol Nang..YOU NAME it. i know it. hahaha. I dont know why they stopped it though, it was too time consuming kali if every contestants were to sing two songs each.. time is money kali ah buleh. But it’s really saddd.. kesian adi adiku inda tia menahu lagu brunei asli anie.. huhu tau durang lagu SPIDER saja.. ALADDIN. hahaha. When my brother Rahim entered the competition 2 years ago, he made it in to the finals without even knowing the theme song to the competition. He lip synched his way through, “BINTANG KECIL, DI LANGIT YANG BIRU..” and got away with it. hahaha. caya ku anak atu. BOOO!! But yeah they should re-introduce lagu lagu wajib in to the program. Brunei used to produce good quality tv shows wah (sayang di sayang, murai, doi ginisnya..) ..exsp children’s programs. No idea what happened there.
Ani now, lagu2 yang kana nyanyikan ani..lagu INDON saja. ilang tia authenticity urang kitani atu. eseh. hahahaha. krg lah ku tulis surat arah rtb..
