Semalam i went out with my gang. Don’t ask who. But all the Cool ones are in my gang. My gang’s the kind where you have to have a password and a key to enter. *rollseyes* Met up with the footballers; Nadz,Wang Ee,Izzah, Tina and their football coaches at the dome. I didn’t stay long as i had to rush down to bandar to meet up with my girls, boy 😛 and boys in Bandar.

Bandar was jam packed with people. Probably because of the lampu cucul. Sat down at d’royalle for drinks.. lawa jua yo ah disana atu. Ive been there a couple of times sudah before, and thought it was okay lah. lawa lah. but now that they’ve extended the pavement atu..mikin lawa tia jua. exsp with the lampu cucul on. You feel like ure in brunei but not in brunei…. very very pretty.

Just got a call from mom. Apparently my grandfather got admitted to the hospital. He’s okay now.. alhamdulillah.

Stayed at home the whole day.Finally saw the k-movies that Ren left me the other day. half way through the second movie, i asked Andy (the driver) to go down to komunis to buy me two more korean movies; A millionaire’s first love sama Almost Love . Tsk. Ive finished watching A millionaire’s first love. Ive seen it before pulang on you tube tapi inda sampai abis pasal urang atu only uploaded part 1 till 8 OF 15 (sial kan?). So when i got it tadi i push forward it to the part that i havent seen lah. hua hua hua hua. Antah ah. I didn’t like it anymore. I thought Hyun Bin was too old to play the part of a high school boy. It’s also probably because it took me a while (try two months!) to watch the 2nd half of the movie that i just didn’t feel the love anymore. huhuhu. I was crying bucketloads before this,when first i saw the movie on you tube. The fact that the subtitles on the vcd are in malay might also effected how i saw the movie.The one on you tube was in English.With korean movies i prefer watching them with English Subtitles pasal it’s more accurate…and they dont censor words like: bitch,fuck and bastard and replace them ALL with; “bodoh” . Once in a while,a lil bit of slapstick humour won’t hurt kan?Whatever it is the plot sucked..it was good in the beginning but kind died down towards the end.but i want to say its good..cause Hyun Bin’s in it. hehe..err..its good. 10 star. huhuhu. good. very good. Hyun Bin very nice. huhuhu. *clap* *clap* *clap*

Another movie that i watched before this was The Beast and the Beauty. This one’s a romantic comedy. Gila yo these koreans really know how to reach out to people’s emotions. When they make people laugh they really make people laugh… When they make u cry i quote Natalie Choot;-“they make u cry like shit”. huhu.

I’ve got 3 more episodes of Spring Waltz to download. Superman was A YAWNER. Someone warned me it was a cliche, cant remember who but it definitely was. Fight of MAN against the machine where duhhhh!! Man WON, Louis Lane very pretty in that dress but needs to get her moustache waxed , Superman has a son (wtf??), superman dies, Just how bald is lex luther? so bald that i tot i was watching Mr Warbucks from Annie.Lex luther attempts to kill superman, superman almost died, superman sent to hospital, Louis lane kisses superman (with her moustache), superman’s son kissed superman..SUPERMAN HIDUP BALIK!! YAHUUUU. All too familiar for words? huhuhu. I’m labelling it as a a children’s movie even if it was, it still won’t beat The Incredibles and the adventures of Care bear. It was very straight forward, painfully tasteless, the plot was too orthodox for my liking;superman lacked character..they stuck to the original too much – so much that every scene was an anti-climax for me. If superman lacked character apa lagi Clark Kent, he was practically AIR. STYLE-LEMZ nya si Boy.. his way of saying Style Lama.

huhu. You know, all this while i never noticed the MEN in X-men. In my head it was X-MAN. as in ONE MAN. So two years ago, i caught X-MEN (in my head X-MAN) for the very first time in at the movies. Through out the movie, i kept on asking WHEN is this X-MEN (in my head X-MAN) dude was going to come out. When Wolverine came out, i thought he was the X-MAN (i dig wolves on motorbikes) It wasn’t till i finished watching the movie that i realised..hehe rupanya X-MEN ani.. ehe ehe.. RAMAI. You know what? spent the whole afternoon yesterday trying to figure out what i HAD to do. Skali the moment i opened my eyes this morning baru te click that that i have to pick up my baju kurong from Nelson. bloody hell. Buleh ku lupa? The wedding is tommorow. It’s just plain baju kurong plang, not that big on embroideries and what not but i was thinking of adding crystals to it using cheap labour i.e; amah amitku .It’s too late sudah. Uwa. I never know what bajukurong feshen to putong even the other day when i went with bon i had trouble deciding where the zip on my skirt should go. I’m just THAT bad. The only time ive ever went to a tailor bymyself was during Hjh Rina’s wedding and this is my 2nd time. I hate it. I’m trying Nelson out cause Gypsy didnt really do a good job with my last baju kurong. Just when i thought i have found the tailor of my dreams. Selaloo.

Last nite Ghah took me out to pizza hut to catch up with Martina and the boyfriend. I found this pair of wedges that i really really like to have from charles and keith, i may not be able to walk in it but i WILL TRY. Shopping in brunei is like going for a treasure hunt. There are nice things out there but that you really really have to look for lah.

The jewellery stall just outside Charles and Keith is AMAZING. They were selling faux pearls from korea. They’ve got them in the shape of earrings,necklaces and rings. I loved the earrings and rings that i saw. The prices aren’t too bad if you’re okay with them jacking up the prices sky high. The earrings that i wanted was apparently 70 bucks before discount and now it has been “marked down” to $35. Hello? They must’ve bought them for a cheaper price to still be able to make a profit ouf of the $35 kan ? Well business is business so i’d buy it for $30. next time lah next time. Alternatively, you can go to Pasar Malam Gadong where they also have pearls on sale for $3 bucks each or two for $5 – fresh waters ones. so its cheaper. It’s not as heavy duty and aren’t as nice but hey for $3 bucks that’d do. *shows off her pasar malam earrings* no one would know they were only $3.

Le Orient, Kiulap Area just above vintage rose. I don’t think i’ve ever bought anything from here. Yes its another one of those stores that like to tipu u blind with their prices. But i have to admit some of the stuff that they stock are really really lawa. But you have to know prices when you’re there exsp when it comes to jewellery. I almost got ripped off the other day when i wanted to buy a pair of chandelier earrings that were selling for $65. Yes. i’ve bought chandelier earrings for more than that before but they were of GOOD QUALITY. the ones that they were trying to sell me were like those flimsy ones ; Beads hung loosely on really cheap WIRE. And the salesgirl insisted that i t was $65 cause they were CHANDELIER EARRINGS. I dont care if you’re “MAM” insists that they were CHANDELIER EARRINGS. Chandelier my foot. huhuhu. But yeah , the place is still worth a look. Careful saja.

The other shop i want to tell you about is Rainforest Gallery just above Mamih in kiulap. Its owned by a friend of mine Denise who has got great taste in jewellery. It’s been opened for a while now but i only checked it out for the first time two week ago with Ghah and Maurina. I love the presentation. The shop sells artwork as well as contemporary jewellery. Prices range from $5 to $60 which is not too bad. The collection pun lawa lawa very eclectic nya orang and very very tasteful exsp the bangles , i think Ghah bought four bangles altogether sudah kali from there. huhuhu. impulse. impulse.

There’s one more jewellery stockist i want to share with you guys.. Bejewelled click here to access their multiply site. Yes, they don’t actually have a boutique but they sell their stuff online. The only bruneian online-store that ive ever heard of. How can i describe her collection ah.. very dainty.If you’re in to multi coloured beads and long, chandelier earrings bejewelled is the place to go also if ure very ayu like the owner lah huhuhu. But then, when i look at her pieces again, they’re not actually dainty..ok its a cross between dainty-ness and funky-ness lah.It depends how you want to accesorize it really. I love the rings from here.. i think she was the one who introduced me to big chunky rings back in the 90’s 🙂

Coffee is good. The high i get from caffeine comes and goes. That’s the effect i get anyway. One minute i’ll be all talkative and restless the next i’m quiet and strangely tired. Afternoon was spent with my long lost best friend in this whole wide world Bebbette. Went out for drinks at coffeezone (where i had the coffee, very nice. didn’t know they had caramel latte), got bored and moved to Funbread where we met up with Ghah for another round of drinks. That’s two days in a row ive seen her for drinks. Very excited that girl. Congrats on getting your first Pay Check..i’m sure there’s plenty of it to come kan?
