a little bit past midnight and i’m in the kitchen making butterscotch. the things that i do for bags and shoes. im just glad im not in the construction business! busy weekend ahead. of course there’s work related stuff and then there’s a wedding im catering for. i have no idea why i put myself through these things.

its been a year since i started my brownie business. i realise i havent been promoting it as much..only because i can’t afford to. time wise. Thus, i have my loyal customers to thank. I’m sure you know who you are. Thanks guys. you have all been really good to me 🙂

so shit. here i am. a few more stirs with the butterscotch and hopefully im done for the night.. i am running back and forth from the stove to my notebook.. unbereivabre! i know! my helpers are still spooning brownie batter in to the baking tins. i love how chocolate smells. you know what’s good now? a tub of Ben Jerry’s Yellow Cake batter ice cream..which supasave has ‘conveniently’ ran out of.

Ive got Ruth Sahanaya’s (Masa nya muda) Memori playing. and i just asked one of the new helpers if she knew this song.. she nodded and went.. ‘Ruth Sahanaya?’ . yes. Ruth Sahanaya. We used to sing this song all the time on the karaoke. Laser Disc punya! hahaha ‘Side A’ of the LD was cracked.. thank god this song was on ‘Side B’. this is PROOF that things last longer before ‘Made in China’. c hahaha the song was written and composed by Oddie Agam in which, without him i don’t think there will ever be any ‘evergreen’ (according to Syaz) songs from the malay/indo world. He’s the same composer who wrote ‘Antara Anyer Dan Jakarta’ made popular by Sheila. He also wrote songs for popular indonesian singers like Vina Panduwinata, Dewi Yul & Chrisye.
