Last night before going to sleep i went through a LONG list of comedians on the 2008 Comedy Festival site for the guy i saw on Thank God You’re Here last year. I remembered him because he’s the funniest guy ive seen on the show, and i thought i might catch him at the comedy festival. but i didnt cause i didnt know his name.

anyway, we went to catch Rove live at Melbourne’s town hall. The last time i was there,it was just before my year 12 exams and i was holding my school flag ON STAGE and lip synchingg my way through the Australian National Anthem in front of 500 parents. My sisters joked that i looked like a fish gasping for air. Thats what you get when jubor itamz trying to be jubor putehz. tau tau inda tau lagu national anthem Australia hahah OOPS. Anyway, as we entered the town hall last night i thought it was really ironic to find a FISH BOWL on the stage. huhuhu.

We found our seats. Which was rather uncomfortable lah. i was sitting next to this PLUS size girl who shouldve PAID for half of my ticket because she had her bum filling up half of my seat ALL NIGHT (when the show was over, she wasn’t PLUS anymore she was just FAT!). And then Rove came out. His show was OK LAH, SO-SO, BULEH LAH (SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEDDD!!!!!!!) . It was rather dry pulang. his jokes. he is not as good as a stand up as he is a tv-talk host. but it was expected.the main reason for us to go was to see him, LIVE (thats LAAAIV) at least ONCE. huhuhu. whatever it is.. i’d pick watching Mun doing her Azhan impressions ..any day lah FREE lagi tu. My friend Mun is quite the comedian. hahahaahah. Anyway, there were shows going all night at the Town Hall. Someone called Ross Noble was on next ..

I was telling Airul a few weeks ago how i was going to watch Rove for the Comedy festival. and he mentioned something about a guy called Ross Noble being really funny. But we were a tad dissapointed after Rove, we decided to leave straight home.

so now. remember how i was looking for that british guy, who was really funny, on thank god you’re here? (first paraghraph.hello?)well. turns out his name is ROSS NOBLE funny ah!?…. thats almost as funny as having a fat girl’s bum filling up half of my seat. *sigh*. if we only knew ROSS NOBLE was on next i wouldve stayed and bought tickets to see him!!!!!!!!!!! and cryyyyy laughing!!!! orrr would I? Hmmm? ahaha APAKAN. not but seriously. ross noble ross noble ross noble. HIS NAME IS ROSS NOBLE. sasakkuuuuuu!!!!

For now, i vow never to see rove live and waste my money like that EVER AGAIN. if i want to see him..ill just watch him on tv. sorry rove. i love you and everything..but.. it just wasn’t good enough. eseh. huhuh. but you are still Australia’s no 1 talk show host in my heart.

You know what would be good right now? a 3hr, purely emotional hindi movie to just take my mind off work. Like Mohabatien. We have a copy but there’s a lag in the subtitles..haha inda jua pedah kali? mun paham inda jua apa.. Mujse Doste Karoge would also another good one. Din is currently playing the ost on his ipod. connected to a portable speaker.

i bet the other residents who pass our apartment are confused to what ethnicity of people are currently living here.

oh i dont know. im just bored. bored with work. im just about to make my 3rd mug of coffee.

i can hear the wind howling again. main reason why im up at such an ungodly hour. its only six AM on a friday. Waking up at six am on a no-school-day is as irritating as waking up at 5am on a Monday. Is it going to be another windy day?

ive just finished looking up the weather. so far, nothing about strong (catastrophic) winds. Thank god! its probably just this morning’s weather. Winter’s near. i can feel it.

In a lecture. the guy next to me just jerked in his sleep. heh. the Czech guy beside him is exchanging notes on PEKING DUCK with the girl sitting a row up. How i know this? well because he showed it to me first asking me if i knew any place in china town that has good duck. huhu. i ignored him cause i was busy playing chocolatier. the guy on my left is playing mahjong on his mobile phone. i see two more students sleeping in the far corner of the room. one student is sucking on the straw of his empty box of Soya Bean…oi wang. abis sudah tu soya bean ah. terasa karang keratas. hehe.

bored. i just woke up from my nap. got a class to go to at six. which reminds me. i need to go early cause i have finished assignments to print out. I dont know how i forgot to buy printer ink the last time i was in JB hi-5. padahal inks were placed right next to the cash registers..purposely done for impulsive shoppers. i kept on staring at them when i was queuing to pay.. i didnt realise at that time that was what we really needed..tsk not a godfather movie. This just proves to show, cash register or no cash register im still as impulsive.

weekend’s coming up. catching Rove at Melbourne Townhall. Like Natalie,One of the things i promised my self that i would do before leaving is to catch talk show host, comedian, Rove live. Since the comedy festival are on now and tickets are quite cheap to watch i might as well.

i didn’t get to go to the great ocean’s road over easter. we couldn’t hire terragos as they were all fully booked during that easter weekend. there weren’t even normal cars available for rent.We’re trying to arrange something in the next week or so. I guess i have to make a head start on my other assignments A.S.A.P. ASAP. kau tau kah ASAP?

we’re all going bowling. huhu we initially wanted to have a paint ball thing over at oakleigh, other than it being cliched we also figured that it would be too much work..so we decided to go bowling.. . i know kan? how WOW is BOWling ? huhuhuhu. but yea it should be fun.

Finished what was left of my diplomacy and statecraft assignment last night. I was amazed at how early i was. It isn’t due until the 11th. huhuhu. However, Im just so used to doing things at the very last minute that i can’t help but feel a little bit weird about it.
