its a Friday.. been away from melbourne for almost 2 weeks now.. (k la i better not start..haha). Playing squash later at two, probably going to ISb to see rahim perform his raya song afterwards..radz just called saying that she’ll be coming over later.. and i might just meet up with Nad and Angie for a shisha session. Oh which reminds me, ive got to go and pick up my dry ice cream off zil. thats 10 packets = … 50+? bucks. adoi ma. but its ok 50 bucks worth of memories. 50 bucks worth of JOY .hahaha.

My cat’s so cute. She came in to my room this morning, woke me up. and placed its head on my left shoulder. and i was like eh.. napa. ya. asak asak anie. rupanya kan ikut tidurrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. hahaha. sasakkue. belabeh banar. huhuh.

Tina: It gets as mahal as $10 per DVD. I bought French Kiss for $10. When Harry Met Sally was $8 or $9. If the woman behind the counter is nice, she gives discount sometimes. Hehe.
Dhil: Yeah, how come some DVDs, the subtitles macam completely gone off on a tangent? I rely on subtitles because aku often inda kedangaran. Hehe. How much is mahal anyway?

Mahal= 8 bucks for a movie. dvd 9. thats mahal to me sudah. depends on the movie lah. haha mcm its interesting how we’re expecting QUALITY from pirated goods ah nowadays. With Jerry mcguire ani im so glad i only bought it for 3 bucks. haha. slow plot..i cant even be bothered watching it sampai abis. overrated berabis. Tom cruise was never HOT in my eyes so i tot id give him a second chance by watching jerry mcguire. ptui. hot lagi nini boy ku. huhu. lawa lagi Harry Meets sally. no one can beat Meg ryan kali and tom hanks kali when it comes to romantic comedies.

Mi, i passed your five bucks to ure brother d other day at Syuib’s i hope u got it. cause i just spent my last five bucks on a packet of dry ice cream. u know the icecream that comes in those fancy packages with astronauts on em.. yang its wat them so called astronauts eat ka apa kah. whatever. pokoknya i bought a packet off izam lah tadi. After 8 years of not having it.. gila. i was savouring every bite kali ah. the portion sure looked bigger 8 years ago.. but yeah. whatever..im just happy that it did my inner-child cravings justice. my friend’s selling them for $5.50 a packet.. apparently its cheaper compared to Singapore where they’re selling it for $8 satu. the portion is small. but the flavours brings back memories lah. hehe.

btw Zil, aku kan ngudar.. kira jari.. 8 kutak lagi. sudah ku pohonkan arah BANK. haha.

A man came home from work late, tired and
irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him
at the door.

“Daddy, may I ask you a question?”
“Yes sure, what is it?” replied the man
“Daddy, how much do you make an hour?”
“That’s none of your business, why do you ask
such a thing?” the man said angrily.

“I just want to know, please tell me, how much do
you make an hour?” pleaded the little boy.
“If you must know, I make $20 an hour”
“Oh,” the little boy replied, with his head down,
looking up, he said,
“Dad, may I please borrow $10?”

The father was furious,
“If the only reason you asked that is so you can
borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some
other nonsense, then you march yourself straight
to your room and go to bed, think about why you
are being so selfish.”
“I work long hard hours everyday and don’t have
time for such this childish behavior.”

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the
door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier
about the little boy’s questions.
How dare he ask such questions only to get some
money?

After about an hour or so, he had calmed down,
and started to think he may have been a little hard
on his son.
Maybe there was something he really needed to
buy with that $10 and he really didn’t ask for
money very often.

The man went to the door of the little boy’s room
and opened the door.
“Are you asleep, son?” he asked.
“No daddy, I’m awake” replied the boy.
“I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you
earlier,” said the man.
“It’s been a long day and I took out my aggravation
on you. Here’s the $10 you asked for.”

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. “Oh, thank
you daddy!” he yelled.

Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some
crumpled up bills.
The man, seeing that the boy already had money,
started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, then
looked up at his father.
“Why do you want more money if you already have
some?” the father grumbled.

“Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do,” the
little boy replied.
“Daddy, I have $20 now, can I buy an hour of your
time? Please come home early tomorrow, I would
like to have dinner with you.”

Share this story with someone you like… but even
better, share $20 worth of time with someone you
love.
Its just a short reminder to all of you working so
hard in life.

We should not let time slip through our fingers
without having spent some time with those who
really matter to us, those close to our hearts.

was on the phone with Nawa earlier. oh how i miss her and our daily rants at her pad. She usually goes “k la. syaz, naik la kejap kita lepak!” when i call her to see wat she’s doing in the evenings.
