Just finished watching “Vina Bilang Cinta” this indonesian movie that Deeds lent me over Lunch the other day. Slow movie and Rachel Mariam got a tad irritating towards the end. The plot was about this kampong boy played by Delon who wishes to fullfill his dream of becoming a singer. But the problem is he was only able to sing songs by the 70’s 80’s jazz singer Vina Panduwinata. The movie was slow but i loved it cause i got to hear Delon’s rendition of Vina’s tracks; Kumpul Bocah, Biru, Didadaku Ada Kamu. Its a dream come true on my side to hear a guy singing Vina’s songs. DEEDS! im on #indomp3 now. as predicted. the OST is available online!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hahaha i grew up listening to Vina you see ..hence this is why im excited. gila kali. sampai ani we still sing her songs on the karaoke. pakai LD lagi tu. hahahaha. cawie. Sleepless in Saddle Seatle SEATTLE Kampong Berabi/ Rumah Bapa kami.
eeee. its almost two. 2hrs ago i was complaining to my friends how tired i was..and now like magic (magic si Mizan haha) im all restless and hyped up. But my nose is starting to feel a bit runny. yes hyped up! although, not the good kind. *sniff* *sniff* *berasin* what do you know. i have also started sneezing every 5 seconds. hah.
Tried Sanur for the very first time today. Gadong was packed and paying 2 dollars for a parking spot at the mall wasn’t really a good start to the day. awu bekira. $2 atu kamu pikir apa? sikit kah?? ee. usin makai bali Hati Buyah wah tue lagi 8 ringgit dapat bali credit. Anyway, yes. Sanur. tried the “tauhu telor” everyone who’s anyone has been raving about.. and yes it was good a tad too sweet but good. I also tried the fish in the leaf (haha something similar to otah otah la), the squid.. the chicken goreng and also found them to be a tad too sweet pun good but sweet ehe. i think its like that with indon cuisine. . Even the indonesian versian (jadi pelipin ku skjap) version of ‘rendang’ at Melbourne’s Nelayan is a bit sugary for my liking.. so is the soto ayam. Ive come to the conclusion that indons love their food sweet. hehe. I also tried Dome the other day. Had the Chai Chiller which was just simply ORGASMIC. for 7 bucks a glass it better be kan? have yet to go back to try their variety of sandwhices. Its rare to come across good quality food here in Brunei..and im glad that they’ve been shutting down restaurants that are so barigali to the bone. hahahaha. welcome to the world of Syazy’s WAY OF DESCRIBING THINGS. But how long will the fresh stock at these newly opened restaurants last? Usually kan, these places are only good for a little while.Its only a matter of time till the quality of their food declines. ive seen it happen to so many restaurants already. take Kenny Rogers for example which has now closed down. Even Swensens, the texture of its ice cream has gone from smooth and creamy to extra icy and very ICE PONG like. Oh. Baskin robins too. The ice cream they had back in the days (before “baskin& robins” was scraped off from its posters and replaced by “Kings”) was never fresh. Guess it takes alot for these shops to find customers ah.Their stock is hardly moving..guess thats why we end up with Ice cream that tastes a lot like soup. omg. remember the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream they used to sell at Supasave? hah. dont let me go there. Opening a restaurant is one thing..maintaining it is another. heh. Takes a lot of hard work to be consistent in this business.
Anyway, Ive been craving for Salmon Sashimi. Will drop by Excapade tommorow lah inshallah that is if Deeds is still on for Lunch 🙂
Went squashing in the afternoon. Played with the usual people, coach wasn’t in the mood to teach so i had Wang Tech help me sweat my ass off. He has ways of making me run after the ball lah. that boy, major bully i tell you! He even gave ashraf instructions on how to hit the ball when Ash was playing against me.

si ashraf ani talur jua. ikutkannya jua ckp si wang tech ani. mana inda ku kapisan. there i was panting lah. lusir sana lusir sini. inda tebawai. But it was a good afternoon of sweat lah. Moral of the story: they should make the glass walls SOUND PROOF. Now we’re thinking of running for the marathon this coming weekend. buleh maseh masuk kah? hehe. eseh. ngada2 lagi tu kan ikut marathon. apa gunanya marathon kalau lapas atu beunjar cucur pisang Jalan Durian?? Which by the way is really really GOOD. possibly the besttt cucur pisang or “Pisang Goreng” (for the bruneians yang kununya exklusip. inda tau kan CUCUR.) in town. tried going there in the last couple of days tapi tutup saja. Ke singapore kali urang nyucur atu.. atau pun.. atau pun..sibok pasal anaknya kan kawin..atau pun.. ya sibok..pasal amahnya sorang ganya time ani.. atau pun.ya masa ani mengalami sakit tulang ..atau punnn.. ya pun sibok main squash masa ani? ataupun ya KEHABISAN PISANG? cana? apa pendapat kamu? hahaha. OMG. kan hyper kan kan kan kan. *sniff* *sniff*
Met up with Bon Mimi and the rest at Sugar & Spice in the evening. Another nice nite out with the girls 🙂 Went home a little pass my curfew. like an HOUR pass my curfew. but it was all good. dad had visitors over so he was too busy to notice that i was late. huhuhu. I am once again saved by the persatuan basaong ayam 2005 untuk daerah brunei muara post code BE1118. kah kah kah. Staying home tommorow nite and the day after…most probably staying in on a saturday pun. i just realised that im going really2 kapeh from going out every other nite.
