“Siti Nurhaliza” *does the “” with fingers* has requested for me to list out or give out information or tips in “how to pick which uni to go to in Australia”. So here goes.

Kalau ada IQRA di Australia ani. Iatah universiti yang sebaik baiknya kita enroll tu. Pasalnya. Ia di jamin halal. dan rate gejala gejala sosial nya inda setinggi tinggi skulah lain yang ada di Australia ani. Tapi. Sayangnya, ndada ada IQRA disini ani. Jadi paksa tah kita mencari uni yang besesuaian sama course yang kita ambil.

Mind you, i am located in Melbourne so i only know alot about unis here. Take that as a constraint of my reccomendations. kalau inda puas hati..cari sendiri. hu hu hu.

Melbourne University
Assuming that “Siti Nurhaliza” (does the thing with her fingers) is looking in to pursuing her studies in Medicine, Law , Engeneering , Architecture , Commerce or double deegrees in art subjects, Then Melbourne University would be a great uni to go to. The entry marks for students that did either their foundation or vce’s here are high. But if you’ve been getting average of c’s in your a’levels or diploma you should be ok. But Melbourne Uni ani is not exactly world’s most friendliest uni. 90% of my friends who go to melbourune uni tend to serve their days there eating lunch ALONE. This is because, smart students are busy students, busy students means no time for play & fun. So if u think ure gonna come here.. i suggest you buy a cat. but then.. kau kan kana antar ke ostrolia untuk BELAJAR kali ah. huhuhuhu.

The uni is also ranked 2nd best uni in Australia. YIPPEEEE. ARIBA ARIBA.

Monash University
2nd best uni in Melbourne. i think. I got friends who come here. Nat for instance is currently doing her masters at Monash. Well known for producing one of australia’s best law and business students the studying atmosphere isn’t as bad as Melbourne Uni. The students are friendlier, more laid back. I’m thinking of going here to do my masters.

Deakin University.
Most of my friends go here..and they LOVED it educational wise and social wise. The only draw back to going to deakin is the fact that its located way out in the middle of zone 1 and zone 2, Burwood. one hour away fromt he city by TRAM. My sister Molly does science in deakin and she hates having to commute everyday. If you’re thinking of going here i suggest you get a car or live closer to the uni itself. Or both. I suggest both.

RMIT University
It’s just down the road from where i live. Popular with students doing media ,fashion, commerce and architecture. A real arty farty uni. The students ive seen chilling out at the lobby are mostly eclectic-ly dressed going on eccentric. I see it as being one of the “hip” unis in melbourne.

La Trobe University
One of the top 10 unis in australia. I dont know why. I thought Deakin would be in the top 10. Latrobe is one of the few unis that offers Law kali. But if ure looking in to doing Law jantah ke australia. wasting time saja. The law they practice here is a lil bit different from what we practice in brunei.

oh and for science & technology there’s SWINBURNE University.

I think most bruneians still prefer to go to Perth and Brisbane rather than Sydney or Melbourne for their studies.

1. Because there are direct flights from Brunei to Perth and Brisbane making it easier for the students to fly back and forth.

2. Di brisbane ada movie world, seaworld sama dreamworld. sanang betapok.

3. Di Brisbane & Perth Banyak Orang Brunei. So it doesn’t get quiet.

4. I’d prefer not to go to sydney. went there on a short trip and i hated it. its too crowded, noise pollution everywhere and the people aren’t as friendly.

5. Di perth… hmm… di perth shiok. hahaha no offense guys. ive only been there once and my memory of it only consists of farm visitations and green parks on high hills. huhuhuhu..oh. and dark roads after 10pm..

I do not know much about the uni’s in perth,brisbane and sydney but i hope this was useful. huhuhuhu. If you’re looking for a good uni, Universtiy of Melbourne would be the best out of the best lah.. but Monash would be a better choice. If ure thinking of coming to melbourne that is.
