Here’s why. I woke up as early as 10 for my appointment with the dentist down the street. Upon arriving at the torture house the dentist sat me down on the torture seat and began going through my molars, premolars..eerrr.. basicly whatever teeth i have lah. Ya katok (knocked?) each and every single one of my teeth and had that special air blown in between my molars. I didn’t feel anything.So i explained to him lah that it didn’t feel sensitive..”but dokto,.. if i chew. ITS HURTS wah!!” (well not like this. i am capable of speaking GOOD HENGLIS u know..with or without a kedayan twang)

KATOK PUNYA KATOK PUNYA KATOK. he kudnt find anything wrong with it. So he had my teeth x-rayed.When the x-ray came out, i wasnt scared of what it might reveal i was really scared of what this consultation might already amount to.

Even then, the x-ray didn’t show anything!!!!

I’ve noticed that my hits from UK have somewhat tripled since the start of “Spring”. I’m thinking its probably due to students being back in UK for the “Autumn” semester – with nothing to do. huhuhu. Anyways. Hello to you, you , you , you and you x 3.

I have a toothache. I’d make an appointment with the dentist..but they cost a hell lot here. Look. I’ve worked it out in my head!

$80-ish for a check up + consultation..say i have to get a tooth filled..that’ll be another $80 ..
say.. they don’t know what’s wrong and they have to get an x-ray of my teeth.. them money monsters are going to charge me $80-ish bucks for the film… say they’ve taken an x-ray and decided that i have to get a root canal.. then it’d be $1000+ tops! kan. whatever it is. i have to be ready to spend more than $200 for the trip. And there i was trying to save up for this really cute necklace shaped like a bow. *sigh* wish i could go home and go to the dentists at airport lama for free..where WAKING UP EARLY is the only price i have to pay for a tooth ache. sigh. It sucks having to pay that much to go somewhere that you HATE. bleugh. I think i’m going to wait a while more lah before i go to the dentist. Give it a few days. See if the pain subsides. GIGI BANAR EH.

BOO. I texted 20 of my friends last nite and NONE of them – not even one replied. Some even say they didn’t recieve it. Marah ku nie. Thats 25cents x 20 worth of credit. Kamu pikir apa ..USIN turun dari SKY kah? Walaupun hari raya. It doesn’t help that we abroad arent getting any extra KACING KACING in green packets. Boo DST Boo.

Oh well anyways. Malam Raya was spent at home. With Molly & Kelly & Me & Mun . We had a “Tapak Kuda” tasting session. Mom brought 3 types of Tapak kuda with her; Angah’s (we shall call this A), her office friend punya tapak kuda (B) , and i dont know whose (C). Paling nyamannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn is ofcourse A. I’m being bias cause it’s my aunt’s Nutella filled tapak horse. The next nyamanest has to be C’s. It had nuts inside and tasted abit fererro-ish. Number B (number eh) comes third..it was still nyaman… tapi..well..hehe tapi nyaman lah. Thank you Babuku yang manis.

We also took out the biscuits for Mun to taste. I dont know about her..but number one on my list is still my Angah’s Tat Nanas. I had it this morning for breakfast and gulped it down with a glass of orange fanta. Ah..The taste of raya at its best.. huhu some may associate this with rendang ketupat lemang and fairy lights on trees (which i was FORBIDDEN TO HAVE the reason being; “hanging it on the walls at home could be a workload!!”) and what not..but for me i simply couldn’t ask for anything else ..

pfft. yea right. SIAPA INDA MAU RENDANG, LEMANG , KETUPAT dan sebagainya…not lodeh tho. i dont know how to eat lodeh and rojak and kuah satay. yes im a very fussy eater.

AGAIN,there seems to be a segregation among the mosques here. Like Puasa. Brisbane & Perth are only celebrating Raya tommorow. Thank god the IMAM council here in Melbourne reached to an agreement. UK is also celebrating raya today.. (Kaka Jiah called me last nite.. and Hana called me this morning from the UK..wah bahagia rasanya ada orang ingat) hehehe. Maybe they should use an AFUNDI system to set the date for PUASA and RAYA here. PUNDI for PUASA [DAY] and RUNDI [DAY] for raya.

I shall be ringing my family up tonight. that is if DST is not being a bitch.

Ujai’s having an Open house tonight..there’s one at Kamy’s tommorow and the day after that would be OUR open house.Which reminds me. Same thing with OPEN HOUSES..this too should follow the AFUNDI system to avoid open-house-clashes in the future. there was a slight confusion with who-was-going-to-have-their-open-house-first here. Alhamdulillah everyone has agreed to have it at Ujai’s tonight. but in the future.. tani pakai OH-UNDI (openhouse undi) [Nama Manja].
