You took the words right out of my mouth. Hehe.
KAN!?!? hahaha 😉
how true, how true.
That’s just not cool, Syaz. You’d be surprised how blogging’s influence in countries such as the US, and even neighbouring ones such as Malaysia and Singapore is changing the political and social landscape of those places. “No action” is arguable but at least there’s increased awareness, and awareness is the first step to any solution to a problem.
I paraphrase you: bottom line, it’s a free world, and anyone can do whatever they want with their blogs.
(I could go on into arguing the semantics of blogging, tapi kan tidur ku dulu.)
naz, don’t take an offence at this, and i’m not taking sides. cos i (l) you both equally.
your argument is true. people can do what they want with their blogs. hence why i post bullshit all the time. and why syaz has decided to say what she has.
in reference to our conversation the other day…. we’re not americans, malaysians or singaporeans. durang maju sikit. apa jua kitani urang brunei. i’m not saying that we’re a useless country, it’s just that. attitude urang brunei ani selamba sikit. more so than malaysians. cuba liat population durang atu brapa. tani brapa. memanglah the proportion of activists in their population tinggi sikit.
what i’m trying to get at is, the way local bloggers are going about doing things and what they’re expecting to achieve out of it, won’t raise enough awareness to actually change anything. cuba liat arah Have your say atu. no matter how much bruneians complain and bitch, nothing’s gonna happen.
why? cos they’re going about it the wrong way. i’m not going to go into the topic of the govt, so i’ll just leave it here.
but a personal example? masa the war in iraq. i posted alot of crap on that. did anyone give a rats ass? not really. maybe sal it didn’t have anything to do with brunei directly. so. how about the time i blogged sal those elephants in jerudong that someone was keeping chained? hmmmmm…
you know what. aku CHALLENGE kamu. if anyone can make a change through blogging alone. i will accept defeat. and so will syaz. pride kami berharga tu!! hehehehe.
chill out lerrr… play literati with me.
Hahaha, nice take on it. 🙂
Lama dah ku nda jumpa ko, want to play “Boys, I lost my ball” again? Hehe.
