tourist: are we wearing a life jacket because they are crocodiles in the water?

After a failed attempt to go back to sleep, i am wide awake at 7:37am. i might as well get in to my baju kurung and drive as fast as i can to work. heh. so what now? i guess i’ll just bake or something. Everytime i see turtlenecks, the first thing that comes to mind is Marks and Spencers. and a Harrods bag to go with it. which by the way, im starting to fall in love with all over again! those black shiny plastic bags are quite the thing, for grocery shopping. btw, how many of you actually bring your green bags to tsupermarkets? honestly, i dont cause i tend to shop in bulk and i may have to bring 10 of the greenbags to the kedai. i know, its not an excuse plang..but what i do is i try to ask the girl at the counter to use as minimal plastic as she can. why are all cashiers girls anyway? here in Brunei la exsp. ive seen male ones before..but never here. well. unless its in an indian tuckshop.

so what went down in the life of Syazwana today. well. a bird poo-ed on my car. it was raining, so i missed my run..again for the hundred billion gazzilion jillion dollars time this month. oh. and i also just found out that MYR stands for Malaysian Ringgit..when all this while i tot it stood for MYANMAR dollars. so yeah. woop-tee-freakin-doo that!

in other news. why has it been raining non stop? why? why? why? seriously, anymore rain..i plan to have my showers outside. not totally naked of course. no of course not. i’m not porno. lol. who says that anyway? i’m not porno. that’s saying ‘Shit you’. it doesn’t really make sense. well grammatically anyway. so yes. i’m not porno. and ‘shit you’ is apparently the new ‘f*ck you’. and 12-3AM is the new working hours. serves me right for spending the night out when i kudve started on work around 8. oh. look who’s crying over spilt milk………the shityouporno.

i was planning on filling up my friday in the kitchen making tarts … you know chocolate tarts, lemon tarts…STRAWBERRY tarts.. (langsat tarts, manggis tarts.. longan tarts.. ) im just looking through my old posts to find out when exactly i started selling my Brownies. i think it has been a year since ive been operating my business online. and amazingly, many of my customers today consists of the same customers i had when i first started my biz. i cant tell you guys how much i love you for constantly coming back for more, regularly checking up on me to see if i have something new on my menu.. or just saying hi on twitter every now and again… your support means alot to me…i ruvvvv you is all. to the moooooooooooooooooon to the moooooooooon to the moooooooooon.

a very fruitful Sunday! took part in the Breast Cancer Support Group garage sale at Pablo’s. Thank you to those who came and supported the event. those who bought brownies, natas and banana cake..i will ruv you forever. you guys made my day. berabis. i’ve been smiling ear to ear since i got home… its good to know that my customers still consist of the same faces since i first started my brownie business. i’d love to thank you all for your continued support. <3

i feel like i’m Kim Sam Soon. The fictional character from the k-drama series My Lovely Sam Soon. I’m watching the drama again! this time on youtube cause i remembered lending the dvd set to one of my Thai friends in Uni and never saw him or any of my dvds again.

This is the second time that i’m watching it and i can sort of relate to the character a little bit more. it’s like i know her:- she bakes, i bake!!!! she’s slightly over weight, im over weight!!!!! she’s bouncing back from a 3-year-of-what-she-thought-was-a-till-death-do-us-apart-relationship… HELLO????? the title of the drama should be..hello, my name is SYAZWANA HARUN.

i’m currently on the 3rd episode…where the handsome Hyun Bin (no idea what his character’s name is in the movie is) is falling in love with the eccentric Sam Soon..but but but he doesn’t know it yet!

im taking this episode as a metaphor for my love life at the moment.. i know. i now whole-heartedly believe that there’s someone out there..that is falling in love with me.. and we’re just waiting to be introduced!

i think the part that really hit home the most was when upon asking her ex if he ever loved her.. the guy’s reply was:-

‘i loved you, i loved the girl with chubby cheeks, i loved the girl who visited every bakery in Paris, with a dream to become the world’s best patissier, i loved the girl who was ambitious, passionate, and full of life..who always smelled of sweets, i loved you.. but thats as far as my love goes..i can’t explain it to you why my love ends there..i’m sorry for that..thats the extent of my love..’

well fair enough. i guess people do fall in and out of love.. takes sometime to comprehend this.. i still don’t quite understand it..only because my conscience is being muffled byfoolish WHYs? and Whatifs? but i am in a strong enough position to believe that .there’s a Hyun Bin waiting for me. staying positive is the way to go. one shouldn’t close their hearts forever just because they were unfortunate enough to have given it away to some guy that wasn’t worthy of it in the first place.
