eeee. its almost two. 2hrs ago i was complaining to my friends how tired i was..and now like magic (magic si Mizan haha) im all restless and hyped up. But my nose is starting to feel a bit runny. yes hyped up! although, not the good kind. *sniff* *sniff* *berasin* what do you know. i have also started sneezing every 5 seconds. hah.

Tried Sanur for the very first time today. Gadong was packed and paying 2 dollars for a parking spot at the mall wasn’t really a good start to the day. awu bekira. $2 atu kamu pikir apa? sikit kah?? ee. usin makai bali Hati Buyah wah tue lagi 8 ringgit dapat bali credit. Anyway, yes. Sanur. tried the “tauhu telor” everyone who’s anyone has been raving about.. and yes it was good a tad too sweet but good. I also tried the fish in the leaf (haha something similar to otah otah la), the squid.. the chicken goreng and also found them to be a tad too sweet pun good but sweet ehe. i think its like that with indon cuisine. . Even the indonesian versian (jadi pelipin ku skjap) version of ‘rendang’ at Melbourne’s Nelayan is a bit sugary for my liking.. so is the soto ayam. Ive come to the conclusion that indons love their food sweet. hehe. I also tried Dome the other day. Had the Chai Chiller which was just simply ORGASMIC. for 7 bucks a glass it better be kan? have yet to go back to try their variety of sandwhices. Its rare to come across good quality food here in Brunei..and im glad that they’ve been shutting down restaurants that are so barigali to the bone. hahahaha. welcome to the world of Syazy’s WAY OF DESCRIBING THINGS. But how long will the fresh stock at these newly opened restaurants last? Usually kan, these places are only good for a little while.Its only a matter of time till the quality of their food declines. ive seen it happen to so many restaurants already. take Kenny Rogers for example which has now closed down. Even Swensens, the texture of its ice cream has gone from smooth and creamy to extra icy and very ICE PONG like. Oh. Baskin robins too. The ice cream they had back in the days (before “baskin& robins” was scraped off from its posters and replaced by “Kings”) was never fresh. Guess it takes alot for these shops to find customers ah.Their stock is hardly moving..guess thats why we end up with Ice cream that tastes a lot like soup. omg. remember the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream they used to sell at Supasave? hah. dont let me go there. Opening a restaurant is one thing..maintaining it is another. heh. Takes a lot of hard work to be consistent in this business.

Anyway, Ive been craving for Salmon Sashimi. Will drop by Excapade tommorow lah inshallah that is if Deeds is still on for Lunch 🙂

Went squashing in the afternoon. Played with the usual people, coach wasn’t in the mood to teach so i had Wang Tech help me sweat my ass off. He has ways of making me run after the ball lah. that boy, major bully i tell you! He even gave ashraf instructions on how to hit the ball when Ash was playing against me.

Moral of the story: they should make the glass walls SOUND PROOF. Now we’re thinking of running for the marathon this coming weekend. buleh maseh masuk kah? hehe. eseh. ngada2 lagi tu kan ikut marathon. apa gunanya marathon kalau lapas atu beunjar cucur pisang Jalan Durian?? Which by the way is really really GOOD. possibly the besttt cucur pisang or “Pisang Goreng” (for the bruneians yang kununya exklusip. inda tau kan CUCUR.) in town. tried going there in the last couple of days tapi tutup saja. Ke singapore kali urang nyucur atu.. atau pun.. atau pun..sibok pasal anaknya kan kawin..atau pun.. ya sibok..pasal amahnya sorang ganya time ani.. atau pun.ya masa ani mengalami sakit tulang ..atau punnn.. ya pun sibok main squash masa ani? ataupun ya KEHABISAN PISANG? cana? apa pendapat kamu? hahaha. OMG. kan hyper kan kan kan kan. *sniff* *sniff*

Met up with Bon Mimi and the rest at Sugar & Spice in the evening. Another nice nite out with the girls 🙂 Went home a little pass my curfew. like an HOUR pass my curfew. but it was all good. dad had visitors over so he was too busy to notice that i was late. huhuhu. I am once again saved by the persatuan basaong ayam 2005 untuk daerah brunei muara post code BE1118. kah kah kah. Staying home tommorow nite and the day after…most probably staying in on a saturday pun. i just realised that im going really2 kapeh from going out every other nite.

was about to fall asleep tadi around 12ish..skali antah. i just felt so restless so i decided to give yuy a call back. the dude never fails to either 1. put me to sleep or 2. gets me ever so hyped up that its just impossible for me to go back to sleep after hanging up.Unfortunately tonite. it was the latter. ani nah. tinggal ku dalam bilik sama si kel melayan boring. Didn’t go out tonite. altho i was supposed to meet up with Liana at Sugar & Spice tadi around 9. kan kana simpan under house arrest? what to do. so i stayed home and watched the korean dvds i bought from komunis last nite. atu pun inda abis ku liat. both movies were so slow and draggy that i kudnt bare watching it sampai abis..and so i moved on to entertaining my self with Sims. huhuhuhu. atu pun i was playing half heartedly. last i checked my sims punya hygeine was close to zero,it was deprived of social acitivities and was very very very hungry. tapi Usinnya banyak..pasal the whole time i was playing all i did was used the ‘motherlode’ cheat to add money to its account ,enabling it to buy the most expensive furnishings and entertainment units. huhuhuhu. carpet lawa..tv baru..tapi sims nya inda tebagi makan. haha cawie. kinda reminds me of some people i know. prada here prada there, gucci here gucci there.. tapi they starve themselves to death. i just dont think its bloody worth it.

Out of credit, and the bags around my eyes are making me look evidently tired. Slept over at Ren’s last nite. Woke up in the morning and made our way to Wanah’s. It was her brother’s birthday and they were having a bouncer fest. Good food. good company . Despite how tanned i got from being under the sun the whole morning, i had fun lah. I enjoyed watching the kids splished and splashed through out the day. Making them smile for the camera whilst jumping up and down with their hands flying in the air in the bouncing castle was fun too. huhuhuhu. You shouldve been there to see Jats go.. “Lumpat! Went to play squash yesterday afternoon. As we have predicted, coach wasn’t there. So we ended up playing games with all these other little kids and one of them just so happened to be Wang Tek (sp?) Chulin’s and WangEe’s youngest brother. Gila. The boy’s handal. He really knows how to play. He serve’s beautifully and i was amazed how he knew how to CONTROL the game.BEPALOH jua ku uleh nya. hahahaha. penyaya bah. Not bad for a 9 year old. Turun tarus saham ku. hahaha. The kids we played with kemarin were of interesting characters lah. ada lagi this one boy, Dilah who i played with kan..

Its like when you’re in this situation kan where you’re being put in the spotlight. You never have anything smart to say? skali lapas atu when the spotlight’s off you..macam macam tah keluar tu. and it’ll take you days to get over it. Slept at 12. woke up at 3 am to go shishi..and just kudnt bring myself to go back to sleep. Playing squash in the morning..it’ll just be us girls hitting the courts..no real training tommorow cause apparently the coach has something to “go” to tommorow i.e “kawin nombor 3”. hahaha. whatever banar.

Its been a long day. Caught up with Mimi and Bonbon in Kiulap..altho i did most of my catching up with si Bon. Mimi was as usual 2hrs and 45 minutes late.Si mimi ani membari malas bah. 2 jam wah kami nunggu. haha.
Had to lash out on them early as i had to pick up my mum from the airport..had a good sweaty squash session with radz after that. Im still not hitting the ball properly cause my wrists are still hurting ..when they’re really not supposed to. *curse you badminton*. awu. aku boring sudah. all i can ever talk about now is squash squash squash.

Just like heaven. Should i take a day off squash to catch it at the movies? The next show will be at 3.45pm.. and the one after that will be at 7ish pm. After last nite i doubt ill be able to go out tonite (the downsides of being a girl in the family kan?) . The idea of me missing out on squash is UNBEARABLE exsp when there’s an OPEN HOUSE to go to lagi MALAM ANI. sigh. I guess i just have to catch it on dvd lah *sigh*.

Thankfully Brunei so far has been keeping me occupied. 2-5pm is squash time.. 7 onwards (on alternate days) i go out to play. huhuh. usual shit la. Gadong or Kiulap. Liana’s asking me to go shisha tonite. I dont usually mind going to crowded places like s&s..but lately kan i tend to feel slightly weird when im having coffee or what ever at these kind of places..almost mcm i feel out of place. Somehow,I just dont see myself fitting in the social scene in Brunei. I got my first culture shock at Chills (d the mall ah) another one at S&s.
and the only CULTURE SHOCK that i got over the 5 years that ive been in Melbourne was during Lynn’s Hen’s nite. atu pun wat do u expect kan? u dont see hot boys and Mr Nude Australia 05 parading in the tiniest red indian costume everyday kan? ani di Chill. tampat “keluarga” lol. yang spatut nya “PG” pun buleh jadi “MA”. but yeah. the social scene has changed sooo much since the last time i was back for summer . I guess i’d just have to work on adjusting myself to Brunei. I dont mean to sound mcm all “oo ive been away for a long time and coming back is just not the same anymore cause im just so great” if that’s what you’re thinking. I just felt the need to gather all my thoughts and paste it out loud in here.

Wait one thing that ive noticed jua.. i notice that people aren’t at all that friendly anymore. We were at Dome yesterday..being loud as usual (maybe we shudnt really be lah..but thats besides the point. Skali across the room there were these two ladies, dressed up, adorned with pearls and diamonds.. hair sleeked up to perfection, complaining loudly that if we wanted to beloud we kudve gone somewhere else. ai dang buleh? at least have the decency to tell us sendiri lah and nicely. Id expect it from these ladies assuming they are exposed to the world of COMMON COURTESY since both of them looked oh so HIGHLY EDUCATED.Unless they’re just flaunting their husband’s money lah ah. faham ku. 😀

This is the reason why im finding it hard to adjust myself to Brunei. motherfuckers being bitches. I was publicly snubbed the other day while being introduced to this girl at taurean. I said Hi, she gave me what seemed to be a half smile and turned away to talk to the boyfriend . mcm hey wats ure problem kan? ts like.. half of the people out THERE are still stuck in this ERA where they think being BITCHY is the IN THING wah. I guess brunei is just that small, everyone knows everyone and everyone gets easily JEALOUS by everyone that we’ve turned in to our own enemies. and its pissing the hell out of me.
