The wedding took the life out of us that we just wanted to go somewhere we can relax &#8211; the process of getting there shouldn&#8217;t be a life journey in itself. haha. So the criteria was:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>avoid long transits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>lengthy flights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>accessible through Changi Airport <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cheap<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>good weather (not cold) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>home of Natalie Tang Choot <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So Penang it is! haha.  Those who have been reading this blog for a long time are likely familiar with her name. Kind of like Europe on a budget thanks to its colonial charms. Sharing this experience with Matt, who appreciated the museum as much as I did, was truly special. I also had the opportunity to reconnect with old friends.
