I just received an email saying that there will be a BSS<\/strong> meeting this coming September. Ive never been to one of these before. All those years here, i was happy to just chill out with my own clique. and i dont think there were that many bruneians enough to organize a BSS Association to begin with. huhu. we usually call these meetings:-<\/p>\n

“aku kerumah mu”
\n“jumpa kau dapan Myers”
\n“behapa ko hari ani?”
\n“eh yo, ke sydney road, daging ku abis!”
\n “eh, mamaku melagau makan..ya disini seminggu, jumpa Sawasdee ah” or
\n“eh kerumah tah mamaku manggil makan!”
\n“eh anubah, computer ku rusak..buleh kau tulung reformat kan kah?”<\/p>\n

Times have changed. Theres an increasing number of brunei students here in melbourne and some have taken the initiative to start up a Brunei Student association= BSS! Im not even sure what it stands for.. BSS..Brunei Student and Sawasdee………….??? lol. <\/p>\n

Sawasdee’s a halal thai restaurant here in melbourne. Its popular because its the only thai<\/strong> fine dining restaurant here in Melbourne, new students would always always be introduced to sawasdee as a halal eating place when they FIRST come to melbourne. mcm kana tipu lah. hahahaha.But its good to know they’re going to hold the gathering at Chilli Padi, for a change. this malaysian restaurant in Melbourne central. and i loveee it. the owners of the place are so smart that its fine dining by day and mamak stall (to cater for the mabok-lapas-clubbing students) at night! I think ive mentioned this before..so anyway,<\/p>\n

yes.. inshallah im going. its on the 1st of September right? huhuhu. Calling all Bruneians here in Melbourne who secretly reads my blog to come beramai-ramai to chilli padi on the 1st september, at 12pm. according to the email its 15bucks per-head, all you can eat buffet. Its like going to a wedding but in this case ofcourse u have to pay la. hahaha. kau pikir makan free kah?? sorry. hahahaha. <\/p>\n

I’m just doing my part as a Brunei student in Melbourne by advertising this. oh. and its Brunei Students SOCIETY. hahahahaha. oops.<\/p>\n
