good morning.

ii just woke up. land i seem to have misplaced my glasses. huhu. yeah i wear glasses. been wearing them for years now. its just that most of you have never seen me wearing them cause i usually have my contacts on during the day. I used to have my contacts on all the time even when i sleep. and then i got scared of getting blind. heh.

ok. so sebvenarnya aku typing2 ani i can’t see the screen. so.. i think i better find my glasses first and then BLOG.

Today is the last of my assignments. Once i hand in my assignment, thats it.. unero qutro wanemo! ..which is Mexican for Not mexican at all. huhu. See. I am THAT relieved that i’ve come up with my own language. uro! puro lo mi sa’ yo mes popi kino! which is now “mexican” *illustrates ” ” with hand gestures* for “WOW! cantiknya puppy itu!” and what do you know? ze macco checko bloga asapuwe , this is African (or not) for “THE MASCULINE CHICK IS BLOGGING AGAIN”. Hepito hepito hepito!! (happy happy happy!)

speaking about languages. funny thing happened last Wednesday. I came back from an exam the other day and was having dinner when i heard someone knocking on the door. I was surprised to find out it was the lady next door who was nice but didn’t speak a word of english. She motioned for me to follow her in to her apartment. Once inside her beautifully furnished apartment, she told me that she was leaving back to China tommorow at 7 oclock. however, i wasn’t sure if it was 7 in the morning or 7 at night because she told me this by spreading out her arms like an aeroplane and pointing to 7 on the clock on the wall. When i asked AM or PM.. she replied back in chinese with a confused look on her face which i assumed meant “???” this is how the rest of the conversation went.

Me: Ohhh Wo Wun-Lai.. TOMMOROW *supported by hand gestures that meant ‘tommorow’* at 7 as well! (Wunlai is chinese for Brunei)
Chinese lady: OOoh Ni, Wunlai?? (oh kau Wun lai , kau balik jua????)
me: YES. your flight *aeroplane hands* what time *pointing at clock* tommorow? AM or PM?
chinese lady: ?????? (dang, kau confuse? aku lagi confuse)
me: am or pm???
chinese lady: ?????? *walks towards her fridge*

hehe for a while there i thought she was going to hand me pork..and in my head, i was trying to figure out how to say IM A MUSLIM in chinese..huhuhu but she took out ALL of the carrots, fruits and green veg that was in her fridge and handed it to me, and continued speaking in mandarin. but slowly, so that i would be able to understand..

TAPI BILA JUA KU PANDAI CKP CINA. Wish i did though, so i could’v at least had a decent conversation with her pasal i always see her on the way up to the apartment and despite her limited english and my limited mandarin we always try to have a conversation. Anyway, i quicky thanked her after that, shook her hand and told her that it was nice to have met her. oh i also asked her if she was happy that she was going back. Unfortunately, the only word i know that means ‘happy’ is KUAI-LE (sp?). at the mention of this she was jumping up and down.. so i guess she was happy?

hahahaha. anyway, 500 more words. and i’m treating myself to icecream and i’m playing all the facebook poker i want!!!!!!

Ok. so i was supposed to finish my Public Policy assesments by Wednesday. It is now Friday and i havent even touched by International law assignment…. sigh.

i need to get condensed milk…just to take off pressure on the coffee making process. lol. If only org puteh knew about condensed milk they wouldn’t be using milk in their coffee/tea.

Sex and the city..the ‘movie’…i weeped, i laughed, i got bored, i laughed, i weeped.

Was desperate to watch sex & the city. It starts showing in Australia today and Mun, Din and I caught the 11:30 AM show at Melbourne Central tis morning. huhuhu. sanggup bah kan?

Anyway, it was okay lah. nothing SPISIL. I thought the series finale (Carrie in Versace couture) was better than the movie. Din thought it dragged on for too long, I thought it was just like watching the episodes only 1. on a bigger tv 2. it was an episode which seemed to drag on forever.

I think those who follow the series religiously would enjoy it compared to those who dont…because Din kept on saying BATAH BATAH BATAH in the middle of the ‘movie’.

btw Jennifer hudson did a good job at SPOILING EVERYTHING. She is soooo annoying!!!!!!!!

I’m rating the movie a 7/10. only because i’m a big fan.

maybe id enjoy it more on dvd?

heh. oh..but im definitely getting the OST. huhuh.

anyway im at the RMIT library. I have coffee and im contemplating work.

going to the RMIT library on swanston to finish the last of my Public Policy assignments. I hope i dont get in to a downloading frenzy like yesterday. Thanks to rapidshare (courtesy of FAUZI!!) i now have the advantage of downloading files at the speed of lightning from Uni. Unless you’re from Melbourne University,the internet connection at most Universities here are really fast that i get an adrenaline rush just by looking at the download rate when downloading episodes and movies. It also makes watching movie trailers on the Apple website a breeze. huhuhuh. ever since this season of gossip girl, desperate housewives and ugly betty ended, under the influence of FAST INTERNET CONNECT i constantly find the need to search for new series to download and watch. hahaha banar. its like im on meth or something!!!

Usually i wouldnt bother. last summer, i missed out on the whole season of Weeds due to the slow connection back home. But i’ve made up for all the episodes that i’ve missed yesterday over less than 2 hours of downloading. lol. Proves to show that there are such things like DUI. Downloading under the infuence. huhuhu. So Hey like, does this mean like, im like, the Nicole richie of the downloading world, like . OMG, like!!!

On the downside, fast connection also means that most of my time at the library is spent downloading instead of working on my assignments. I seriously can’t help it… huhuhu talk about internet abuse.. but whatever. huhuhu. oh and plus, Nicole Richie didn’t make her fortune through PUBLIC POLICY EXAMS.

ignorance is bliss.

tapi seriously i have to stop. But sadly the only way to stop is by placing my macbook on the tram tracks..or getting it in the way of a DUI driver. huhuhu.

which reminds me. i’ve also only seen that ONE episode of Lipstick jungle. 😀
