Spent the day walking around in my heels and kebaya around Melbourne. My alarm didn’t go off this morning sending me in a rush to get ready for Nawa’s graduation at 10. Promised Vira the night before that i’ll be ready by 9:30. well. heh tough. Good thing she was caught in traffic or else i wudve felt guilty for making her forever wait for me.

The ceremony was held just down the road at Melbourne’s Convention Centre. KALAU KU TAU BEJALAN KU KAN? Shitloads of people. shitloads of familiar places. Half of the people i did my diploma with 2 years ago were there in their robes!,all made up!,with nice hair!,graduating..!!!!.. and there i was squirming in my kebaya.. full on pmsing AND NOT GRADUATING. So u can imagine how i felt through out the ceremony..pretty much left out not to mention how painful my feet were getting. Its. ok. 2 more semesters. and thats all there is 🙂

Bloody hell .. i can’t believe i lasted the whole day walking in those darned heels.. i’d be graduating with distinctions if they were ever to have a school for girls-in-ill-fitting-shoes.

The whole troop is here from Malaysia including Nawa’s younger siblings. Wooohoo! Thank god Nakhil was there to cheer me up. haha he was telling me about this group of indians that he saw at the ceremony.

And then he started telling me about this indian family who were sitting down when of the SONS got up to take a picture ..ah nevermind. i dont think i can pull this off. its the sort of funny story where mcm u have to be there to get it??? so yeah. i wont bother. haha.

Skali during the ceremony, they were calling out names kan.. usually people wud just mcm you know clap..and well yeah cheer lah.Tapi ada this one time, this girl’s name kana call out kan..skali one of the guys in the audience started going “GOOO GOO GOOO ALE ALE ALE” hahaha. Talk about subtlety!!mcm what the fuck? lol. Never done before tu yoh. hahaaha macam ai buleh. ricky martin graduate? hehe.

Went to Southgate to have lunch afterwards..oh nabil was telling us about this greek place called Jim something..down in Collingwood. Apparently the food there is so good taht they dont have a menu. They have this concept where customers are encouraged to trust their waiters instead.Mcm u just go in there and they’ll ask u if u want MEAT, CHICKEN or SEAFOOD or whatever lah and they’ll go to the kitchen and ask the chef to whip up a super duper fantastic meal for u, based on what u want lah. I quote Nabil: “if u ask for the menu, they’ll just laugh at you!!” . Tapi banar jua..u can’t go wrong with greek food. They’re only all about Souvlakis and fried calamari rings anyway. Nevertheless….interesting stuff. hehe. might go check out the place with them esok.

so. wat did i do today. Woke up sometime around 12ish. Took a shower and had Adi drive us down to lil bourke street for Japanese at Kimura. Had the Chicken Katsu don that ive been craving the whole week! The thing is about Kimura, the place doesn’t look like much.. it looks plain lah nothing fancy but it sure does guarantee you good food. I like places like that. Another Japanese restaurant with a similar concept is the one down in Glenferrie ;- Samurai. Been ages since i been there. The last time was when i was still living with Inta which was like a good two years ago kali? if not more. Samurai had what? 6 tables kali. lagi parah. but the foood..ultimate yummy-ness in this world..and the green tea milk shake is to DIE FOR. hehe. Shit..paloi kan..i can’t help but think of food 24/7 in this bloody cold weather.

Nauli and Adi went straight to the library after and i thought i’d walk home lah. Skali apa nah? UJAN. So there i was lah walking in the rain..frozen.Thank god there was a starbucks just around the corner to where i was standing. I got my self the venti-caramel-skinny-milk-macchiato-with-exta-caramel-and-extra-caramel-drizzle-ontop before continuing my what-seemed-like a long journey home. Yes. I can be verrry verrrry fussy if i want to. hahaha. The warm cup of coffee in my hand made my walk home slightly better lah..

My skipping rope finally arrived..paloi kan? past few weeks ive been mcm surfing for jewellery,clothes apa on the net.. and i end up buying a skipping rope. baru ya awut. hahaha.

Most of the people that ive met over the week are either badly hungover or suffering from some sort of flu resulting from hardcore partying over the weekend. I’d rather be suffering from the latter at the moment. Having to go to school when other people are on holidays sucks more than well..having to go to school. heh.My uni started late and im only getting my week off next week. Now that sucks because then, i wont have anyone to party with and therefore i won’t be getting my fair share of the party flu.

Great. a week off..armed with absolutely nothing to look forward to.

It’s freezing and im shivering like a chiwawa. Nah called me earlier in the evening, its been ages since i heard from her and i bet she was just calling me to show off 😛 hahaha. She’s in Sydney at the moment and is apparently enjoying the breath-taking views of the Darling Harbour and scoffing away way-way-way-too-many glazed donuts.yeah nah may you grow KRISPY OLD and KREME-Y FAT. hahahaaha 😛

As much as i want to be jealous of Nah and her luggage of Krispy Kremes, I cant. I had my fair share of Krispy Kremes last nite at Nawa’s. Nadia was nice enough to share her box with me..although i only got one..cause there were only two left by the time i got there hahaha. It was 30 seconds of sheer heaven i tell you.. every bite was just orgaaaaasmic. Can’t wait till they open up in May. I still can’t figure out whyyy they’re having their first branch here so far away..like Tutong far ok? fine.
