I saw a piece of unopened orange candy on the ground on the way here.I avoided picking it up afraid that i might chuck the sodding thing in my mouth rather than chucking it in to the nearest waste bin. It looked so good. I just logged in to my msn, everyone’s on “Out to Lunch” mode. An msn classic over the puasa month. ha ha. in other words, its getting old lah, its not even funny anymore *cough* kel *cough* 😛 (astaghafirallahalazim..posa..) haha.

Mun came around last nite and brought GGPP (Gila gila pengantin popular dang!) with her. Another sh*t movie. Wasn’t expecting it to be as sh*tty. hah. BOO-NESS for keeping my hopes up. bad taste to the bone. cawieeeeeeeeeeeee. Even Saiful Apek wasn’t as funny in the film. Tapi the only cali bit was pasal anu atu lah.. apa namanya nie.. KAWIN pun pakain MENGUNDI. hahaha PENGANTIN UNDI = PUNDI. But the movie dragged on for too long that when the climax finally arrived .. (PUNDI) inda lagi cali bah..mcm “sudahtah..sudahtah..tawar sudah ati kami” catu? haha. Plot nada i guess they were just banking on famous faces lah as usual.

Seems like the hot topic for conversation these days revolves around plans of going home for summer. Those that i have spoken to are also stuck in the same predicament; i.e not sure wether to go home or not. Ani pun , if kamu notice is all that i can ever talk about kan? haha. Yes sure, brunei will be good from a bird’s eye view (u know masa kamu kan landing..huhu) but it is not until you step foot in the airport parking lot that you realise that it’s just not the place to be (happens everytime..). I was just talking about this with a girl-friend the other day. Reasons of not wanting to go home can range from:- not wanting to bare with a-hell-lot-of-boredome..and little things like..not wanting to be seen fat.Family & friends can be jerks you see 🙁 .

I have come to a conclusion that Brunei is only a place to be when:-

1.you’ve accomplished so much academically that it gives your parents something to gloat about at family gatherings
2. You are no longer fat and are now capable of reaching the peak of Bukit Subok in 20 minutes without having to stop for OXYGEN.
3. When you’re completely over your EX and now, have happily moved on to an orang puteh boyfriend (hahahaha.)
4. When you have A rich & handsome and STRONG orang puteh boyfriend. (hahahahaha)
5. you are 100% mentally unaffected by boredome.

Feeling slightly under the weather. Seems like ive been sick on and off ever since the beginning of Spring. I might be lacking in the Vitamin C department..blaaaaaaaaaaaah. Hope it goes away by tommorow, wudnt want to miss the first day of Ramadhan. sigh. Kel’s outside strapped on the couch, eyes glued to the tv. its one of those long, draggy korean series again she’s watching. I’d watch it with her, but i fell asleep twice watching the first 2 episodes. Turns out that not every korean movie works for me. She hasnt budged in the last two hours. I however in that time frame, have been walking around the apartment, washing the dishes, doing situps in between folding the laundry. All as a substitute for excercise 😛 or in my case, procrastination from schoolwork.

I can’t be arsed walking or going to school today. It’s nice out but im scared going out of the apartment might retrigger all the fever-ish symptoms i had last nite. I swear, the moment i got out on to the balcony to dry the bathroom mats (*SMILES PROUDLY* yes! i did the bathroom too!) my throat started to itch. So i guess it’d be better if i stay home saja today haha im saying this in total disregard of the two assignments due in this Friday.

doo bee doo be doo.. so what’s up? huhu. Looking forward to the summer holidays. I can take a flight home on the evening of the 20th. but im still thinking about it. I havent even booked myself a ticket home, which will be really difficult after october as a majority of students will be flying home. Therefore, i have to make up my mind real soon lah.haiyah. i donno-tze. I’m waiting to land myself on a part time job. so that i can pay all my bills with and go home stress-free. I’d ask mami for the mooney but im somewhat.. too malu lah.. hehe.

This is already embarassing as it is and im probably not doing myself any favour by putting it up in writing but the truth of the matter is, I havent got ANY reply from the TEN places that ive sent my resumes to (aaagh!). Is it my lack of experience? or am i just not trying hard enough??? This somehow got me thinking kan..to find a PART TIME WAITRESSING JOB that pays sudah payah? apa lagi a real, money paying, self satisfying job? I mean will it be twice as hard to find a job after my degree kah?

Bali Beyond Kuta kunun. last last ke temburong saja nie kali.. its ironic how me and nawa paid $25 bucks to attend that bali promoting thing the other nite.. skali the next day.. KBOOOOOOOOOOSH..parai dey..imagine if we had paid the $1000 to actually go to Bali. jauh palis. huhu. heh. jantah ke tutong saja kue nah. bali dvd 9. buy 1 get 2 free. huhuhu.

Bali nite.

Didnt know what to expect at first. Nawa called around six and asked me to come up to her place to dress up. Didn’t know it was going to be a formal occassion. I really thought it was going to be like another indo-student-carnival-kinda-thing. Turns out the nite was dedicated to promoting Bali beyond Kuta and the market was for old men in coats and old ladies in dresses. The event started with a welcoming dance performed by real Bali dancers. I have to say i was mesmerized by the whole procession. The dancers were dressed in real balinese costumes..(amas dang) and the musical instruments were authentic balinese instruments..sitting in the audience, i felt like i was IN Bali. The event was greatly sponsored..its absolutely fantastic how indos have the market to hold this kind of event here.The indonesian market is so big that they even have an indo-australian-business association..complete with presidents lawyers and everything.

As for Ronn Carrol. HE WAS FABULOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! He was spinning at Evolution. Maddddd beats all night.. including “Back Together” which was the BEST BEST part of the night lah. hehe.

It was Gay Heaven over at evolution. The crowd mostly consisted of ‘happy’ and drags. huhu. Felt like it was Lynn’s Hen’s nite all over again lah and there was “red indian”, “panther” and ” builder” dancing to YMCA infront of me. huhuhu. I was completely gobsmacked and somewhat disgusted by the fact that almost every ‘boy’ in the room had their t-shirts off by the end of the night. I say for $35 bucks it was definitely worth going to! the uplifting beats and Caroll’s flawless spinning made it a house event to remember.Iit was daylight by the time we left evolution. it was a good lah, a fun night out with my friends. 🙂

Last night was good. The food they served was almost boarding house food like..but $15bucks for a 3 course meal isn’t that bad kan? i’ll even let the fact that the dessert came very very late slip. My group, “Is Hurts” was the first to perform..and so we ‘rocked’..i wasn’t that convinced until a guy came up to me at the end end telling me how good our performance was. hehehe. *bless him!* . hehe.

The event was held at the San Remo Ball room at Carlton North. the Turn out was as expected,200 over people.

all in all, it was okay lah..

Tip of the day: never buy automatic eyeliners as they smudge easily. exspecially in warm climates. I suggest you splurge on the liquid kinds instead.

Malam Gemilang tonite. after last nite’s rehearsals im confident that we are going to do ookay lah. Not great. but o.k. At least people won’t be expecting alot since its going to be our first performance.Which is good. Songs we’ll be singing tonight includes Sheila Majid’s – Dia , Ruth Sahanaya’s – Kaulah Segalanya, Zainal Abidin – Ikhlas Tapi Jauh and M.E’s Inikah Cinta. My Voice is still not back yet . haha. doesn’t sound too promising does it?
