current looking for a good k-drama romance comedy to watch online. i havent been watching any for a long time. Its nice to just sometimes live vicariously off the characters. Oh you know, the courting moments, to be swept off your feet.. the i just calllll to ’saaaaayyy i loveeeee you~~~~~ ‘ the ‘no you can’t marry my son because you are poor’ scenes hahahaha. i know..i know.. i could be quite the sappy person but yes. one of my joys in my life is not having anything to do but sit and watch k-drama all day..and well ofcourse, next to kdrama. there’s THE SIMS. *BIG ENOUGH TO FIT A FRISBEE SMILE* huhuhu.

ive been contemplating to buy the mac version of SIMS for some time now. i used just buy cheap cd copies from komunis for windows. its harder now that im using a mac. Fauzi tried downloading a mac version of the sims 2 for me the other day but it played really really slow on the system After playing it for a while and having to restart over and over because it kept on crashing. i finally decided to delete it. but mind you..this was only a MONTH after i installed it. haha rasa jua tu kan main hahaha…

but these days, when i’m not studying..i’m playing tetris. here. it is just as addictive as sims, kdrama & kfc.

i got to level 29 the other day (YESSS!!). until my mata started going JULING and i made a mistake of fitting the bricks in to all of the wrong places. YATAH TU JULING. recently, i got to level 30…but my fingers couldnt reach the print screen button on time. hahaha.

apa eh game over. KAU YANG GAMEOVER. GAMEOVER!!!

Im in a public policy lecture. i think i should stop taking my macbook to class because i find myself drifting off to a food blog at the mention of policies, budgets and the federation. Although, i love how they’ve included youths and schools in Australia’s 2020 Summit. Its something along the lines of students between the age of 18-26 are nominated as delegates to join Australia for the 2020 summit in parliament. itu idea yang bagus seeing that kids are the future of the world. Mcm ala ala Mawi World bah.. “BELIA BENCI DADAH”.huhuhu.

So anyway. ive been in Uni since noon. its 7 in the evening and i’m knackered to the bone. im sleepy. im hungry. im thirsty and my hair needs good shampooing. …..

ada this african man sitting infront of me. his bald and i can see fine lines of veins protruding across his forehead!?!? how come ive never noticed it before ah? this guy is in 4 of my classes dari last semester. was he wearing a hat last year? or did i mistake his wootak veins for a head band? rasakan ku ratakan kepala nya ah pakai terikah. come to think of it his kepala looks like a sphynx. yang kucing inda bebulu atu bah. huhuh landir2 lihirnya. tapi ani di kepala.

omg. i should be listening and not analysing an african man’s protruding forehead veins.

its monday. and i think i might have just missed my yoga class by half a second. It starts at 9 and you have to be there on the dot otherwise you’ll be locked out. I guess its so that the other students in the class punya concentration inda tekacau by late comers. GOOD IDEA. do u notice that IDEA spelt in CAPS looks like IKEA?

anyway. going to school around lunch time. probably going to be there till about 12 at night. if only i had a car it’ll be easier to go to the library and come back home late at nights..kadang2 be train ani DODGY bah. bukan saja dodgy.. the service stops at 1am. boo. BOOOO. so yeah. oh went to the great ocean road over the wknd. it was a longggg drive but we enjoyed the short pit stops we had a long the way. Will be posting up photos soon. Im in class.

The china boy, the czech boy and I are all seated in the back. The three of us brought our macbooks today and the only power point is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy at the back of the room. We are now sharing chargers like its a communal toilet.

boring eh. i dont think anyone is listening. he’s just dictating his notes word for word. he’s a nice guy though. apparently no one in the class failed the recent assignment. no one got a PASS either. results are apparently either credits, distinctions and high distinctions. I’ll take comfort in the fact that i’ll be going home with at least a credit. I heard news that no one in my international law class failed pun. so i guess..ive done OKAY. but this is just the start. i have two more months of hell to go through. things are only going to get HELL-er from here.

i think.. ill have some fun with the Garage application and record the lecture again. on the other hand. jantah inda cali. inda brapa nyaring suaranya hari ani. NGALEH kali ya. huhuhuhuhu.

Currently getting caffeinated with instant coffee and a piece of whats left of last night’s passionfruit tart that looks like a cheese cake. Si Nad ani mcm tau saja aku craving for passionfruit. Usually this time around (pms) id be craving for mangoes, but somehow.. my craving’s asking for PASSIONFRUIT. stylo mylo jua minta passion fruit kawin anak raja kali sudah cravings ku ani. huhuhu. but yeah. Nad came over last night and gave us this passion fruit tart that looks like a cheese cake. so i was like ‘eh nad cheese cake kah?’ and she went ‘tak, its a passionfruit tart!’ and i was like ‘no.it can’t be. but it looks like a cheese cake!’ and she was like ‘tak! its passion fruit’ and i was like ‘eh. tapi usulnya mcm cheesecake ah’. and she was like, ‘have a try’ and i did.. and it was WONDERFUL

This could easily be the best passion fruit tart that looks like a cheese cake ive ever had in my whole life. itss even better than PASSIONFRUIT. lol. u know. like how a rambutan cake is better than a rambutan?? huhuhuhu there’s a slice left on the kitchen counter. might save that for tea.

huhu opps. i forgot to take out my teaspoon out of the mug. how very MANI like. huhuhuhu. i really dont get it with indian drivers. they drink with their pinkies up and at the same time they would have their teaspoons still in the mug whilst drinking. kalau aku mana ku tahan tu. huhu juling rasanya. huhuhu.

oh. ive also remembered that i still got work to do.

Brunei’s 24th National Day Celebration Melbourne

22nd March 2008, the Brunei Student Society in Melbourne threw an event in conjunction to Brunei’s 24th National Day.
It was held at the Winner’s function room on Swanston Street. Directly translated to Malay, it was jokingly known as ‘Dewan Pemenang’ amongst the cheeky students.

The event was led by our honourable guest Pengiran Ayup bin Pegiran Othman, Brunei’s education attaché who flew in from Canberra. The ceremony kicked off at 3pm with the national anthem followed by the president, Dr Ying Yeu’s speech and a cake cutting ceremony.

Those who came consisted of Bruneian students and in-service government officers. Following the ‘doa kesyukuran’ read by Mohd Lutfi, guests were treated to Indian cuisine and the much sought for ‘Bingka Susu’ made by our resident ‘Martha Stewart’, Amalina Harun. The buffet table was adorned with yellow and red coloured Gerberas, tea lights and traditional ornaments such as the ‘Tudung dulang’ and ‘Tekiding’ to add a patriotic feel to the festive atmosphere.

Guests were also entertained with contemporary group performances by the Brunei Student Society Melbourne that sang an upbeat Chrisye number titled ‘Cinta’. There were also Individual performances by Mahyuddin Zulkipli, Kamaliah Saiful Rijal, Muneerah Hassanol, Lina Idris and Amal Liyana Yassin accompanied by our own, three talented guitarists Fauzi Yassin, Azhan Ahmad and Arif Sablee. The guests were not to be left out as short karaoke sessions and games ran through out the event. We were also lucky enough to have our photos taken by Shaikh Fadilah Ahmad whom we proclaimed our official photographer on the day.

It was a fun occasion filled with music, laughter and most importantly patriotism. In the spirit of solidarity among fellow Bruneians in Melbourne, Happy 24th national day, Brunei Darussalam.
